I’m a product designer who codes (agentic) too. A few years into this career, I’m still most interested in the problems that seem difficult to explain.
The work I enjoy rarely starts with a polished brief. More often, it begins with a messy idea, a complicated workflow, or a product that has outgrown the way it currently works. That's usually where I find the most interesting questions.
A lot of my work has been in products with moving parts: payments, operations, internal tools, and platforms serving different kinds of users at once. The challenge is rarely designing a screen. It's making complexity feel manageable. Helping people spend less time figuring things out and more time getting things done.
That's why I care so much about clarity.
Clear design. Clear communication. Clear decisions. The best products I've used don't feel impressive because they're complicated. They feel impressive because they make something complicated feel obvious.
Outside of work, I'm usually playing video games, watching football, and listening to music. I enjoy art, architecture, and paying attention to the small details that make things feel considered. Most of the time, curiosity is what pulls me in. Design just happens to be where I put it to use.
